Personal Information: First and last name, email address, and date of birth.

Authentication Data: Third-party login credentials from Sign in with Google or Apple.

Device Data: iOS device token for push notifications.

Payment Verification: Apple payment receipts stored for subscription verification.

We do not collect or store your full payment details; all transactions are handled by the Apple App Store.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Authenticate users and manage accounts.
  • Send notifications and service updates.
  • Communicate important information or marketing emails (you may opt out at any time).
  • Verify active subscriptions.

4. Data Storage and Third Parties

We use trusted third-party providers for secure data handling:

  • Supabase for user data and authentication storage.
  • Cloudflare for hosting product images.
  • Postmark for transactional and marketing email delivery.
  • Apple for payment processing and subscription management.

These services are bound by their own privacy policies and comply with applicable data protection standards.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services or comply with legal obligations.

If you delete your account, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems, except for information required by law or necessary to enforce our terms.

6. Data Deletion

Users can delete their accounts within the app. Account deletion removes your personal data from our active systems. We do not currently support data export functionality.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption, access controls, and secure database storage. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

8. Cookies and Tracking

Garden State Herbhub does not use cookies or tracking pixels.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Service is intended for users aged 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect or store data from anyone under 21. If we discover such data, it will be deleted promptly.

10. Your Rights

You may:

  • Request deletion of your account.
  • Opt out of marketing emails.

Because our Service operates only in the United States and does not target users in the EU or other jurisdictions, GDPR/CCPA-specific rights do not currently apply.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of our Service after changes means you accept the revised policy.
